Everyone thought I was crazy for dropping out of college and opening a dance studio. Even my parents. Everyone asked me, “What will you do if it doesn’t work?” “It will work.” I would say…”And if it doesn’t, I’ll sell it.” There was no fear. All awareness. I knew it would work. I had an awareness that this business was for me, and I was the person to birth it. Girl, if you’re like I am, I spent years building that business to prove others wrong...and it was exhausting. In this episode, I share how I started this particular business on an unhealthy and unstable foundation built from ego and aggression. It was not fun. I was bored, exhausted and over it once I accomplished the goal of building the business. I share how I sold that business and learned so much about me as a business owner, leader and what I enjoy. In this episode you will learn about: ● How I dropped out of college to start my first brick and mortar business. ● How the odds were against me and I chose it anyway. ● The way others around me saw the chose as black and white and I saw it with a million different outcomes and way that it could be created.
